Well, the money situation around here hit the point where I needed to set up a GoFundMe to cover the bills for the month of June, and may need do it again for July, a fact which I am Unhappy about. I still can’t find a job that my disabled carcass can do, and Himself’s local is taking its sweet time sending guys out, so we’ve reached the end of the reserves we saved up last year. Emergency plumbing repairs, a major vehicle repair, and an urgent veterinary trip ate the funds up faster than they usually go, and thus we find ourselves here.
So yeah, if you’re reading this and can toss a few coins our way, please do. Either the GoFundMe or Ko-Fi are fine.
On a positive note, something in the creative blocks shifted and I’ve got the newsletters for Auntie Yaga’s Home For Wayward Monsters up and running! There are two up, more scheduled, and even more being written down. I’m beyond pleased about this. I adore this little boarding house and it’s denizens and love being able to share it with other people.
I’m still poking at the YouTube video, but the weather has been unconducive to taking the camera for field trips. We went from 100 degrees back down to the 50s and raining in the last week, neither of which are good for being Outside in. The rain should be ending today, though, and we’ve got a couple of nice days ahead.
